Eucalyptus usually adopts the method of cutting in wet soil. It cannot be watered during cutting because the cut branches' wounds are difficult to heal for a short time. At this time, watering will infect the wound with germs and cause root rot and lead to cutting failure. Spray water on the cuttings if the soil is too dry.

1. Don't water the Yushu cuttings

Yushu is a succulent and succulent plant. The cut off branches will also contain more water and juice. It is not suitable for cuttings immediately. It should be stored in a cool and ventilated place for one day. When the wound is dry, cuttages are needed. Wet soil cutting method, do not water, otherwise it will rot.

Even if the wound is allowed to dry, the wound will be difficult to heal in a short time. If watering at this time, contacting the wound with too much water will increase the probability of infection of the wound with the wound, and the phenomenon of wound rot will cause cutting failure.

Second, too dry can spray water on the leaves

If the soil dries within 2 to 3 days in a short period of time, you can spray some water on the leaves, and the amount should not be too large. If it is still a week and the leaves are wilting, after spraying water, you can pour a small amount of water along the edge of the pot to let the water slowly penetrate.

Basically, watering can be done after 10 days, but at this time no rooting is needed, only the basic humidity should be maintained, and at the same time do not see light before rooting, and it can take root in about 3 to 4 weeks.
